Feb 09 DED Challenge = Day 6

Was practicing gestures today. The page full of crap I did won't scan clearly due to the pencil being too light. So, I grabbed one of the poses and drew something up real quick. I know the legs are screwy, wish I had more time to fix them. Oh well. Lemme know what you think!

Not enough time to finish this guy today. Gotta fix Carl anyway, so it's no biggie. Not much to say today...in the immortal words of Slater from Dazed and Confused, "Check ya later."

Feb 09 Draw Everyday Challenge = Day 4

Still on a horror kick. Here's a quick Jason Voorhees. Been playing with my style...trying different cartooning techniques and structures. It's both fun and frustrating. I'm really focusing on improving my overall abilities though, and experimentation is a necessary step. Critiques welcome!

It's day three, and today I decided to tackle a character I'm ashamed to say I don't draw that often. Being a horror movie nut, Leatherface is one of those icons you just gotta love. He's got a great look and he's scary as hell. Feel good about how this one turned out, as I did it without a reference. Tell me what ya'll think!
